Who? A potbellied pig named Charlotte/ owner Yvette Hoffman.
What? A pig’s brief escape that was stopped with the Middletown Division Police Department and Oreos.
Where? Middletown Ohio
When? Dispatchers received calls about the pig around 12:30 p.m., Friday.
Why? Hoffman says a passerby must have let Charlotte out of the yard.
How? Hoffman lured Charlotte with her favorite “Most Stuf” Oreos and put her leash on to take her home.

Who? Scottish grandmother Moira Boxall
What? A nonvenomous spotted python had smuggled itself on a 9,000 mile plane ride in Boxall’s suitcase
Where? A flight from Queensland to Glasgow
When? After Boxall had arrived in Glasgow and opened her luggage. Boxall covered the shoe the snake was in with a box and called SPCA.
Why? Snakes have stowed away and traveled other places as well. Brown tree snakes used to stow away on WWII planes and travel to Pacific islands.
How? SPCA responded to the call and now has the snake in quarantine in Edinburgh
