NDSU 2019 Homecoming Music Entertainment: Timeflies
Timeflies, an American pop music group, is said to be performing for the North Dakota State’s 2019 Homecoming week. This event will be taking place on Friday, Oct. 11 at 8 p.m. The event will be held at the Sanctuary Events Center in Fargo, ND. Tickets for the show will be available through the One Stop desk in the North Dakota State University Memorial Union.
Timeflies is a two-person group that was first formed back in 2010. Rob Resnick produces the beats while Cal is known for his vocals and freestyle skills. They are known for their upbeat, self-wrote songs. The two first met in college at Tufts University in Massachsettes. They then began writing and producing songs from their dorm rooms. Timeflies grew their fan base by creating and posting original mashup covers on YouTube called “Timeflies Tuesday”. Their YouTube channel has grown to have as many as 175 million views.
You may have heard some of their most popular songs which includes “I Choose You”, “All The Way”, and “Worse Things Than Love”. Their music features in popular films such as “About Last Night”, “My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2”, and “American Idol”. They have also performed on stage on shows such as “Good Morning America” and “Jimmy Kimmel LIVE!”.
North Dakota State University’s Homecoming will kick off with the annual Homecoming Coronation show on Monday, Oct. 7 at 7:30 p.m. The show will be held at the North Dakota State University Festival Concert Hall. Other main events include President Dean L. Bresciani’s State of the University Address on Thursday, Oct. 10 at 9 a.m. at the Festival Concert Hall. To follow, there is the Athletic Hall of Fame luncheon at 11 a.m. at the Holiday Inn in Fargo, ND. Later than night there will be the annual Homecoming Parade at 5:30 p.m. in Downtown Fargo. Last but not least, there will be the Homecoming football game. North Dakota State University faces South Dakota State University at 1 p.m. at the Fargodome. Tailgating begins at 8 a.m.
So, come and show your North Dakota State University Pride for the 2019 Homecoming. Enjoy yourself at the Timeflies concert on Friday, Oct. 11 at 8 p.m. held at the Sanctuary Events Center in Fargo, ND. Doors open at 7 p.m. Students may buy their tickets through the One Stop Desk in the North Dakota State’s Memorial Union.

ReplyDelete'is said to' isn't really the best way to say that a group is playing something, it makes it sound like maybe they're coming and maybe they'll be on another continent.
If this isn't on campus, tell us why.
It's also unclear if they're playing the dance or during the festivities of the week.
When introducing the band, both members need the same amount of coverage; who is Cal?
Watch your tenses as well; 'includes' is used for singular things, 'include' should be used when referring to the band's songs.
When talking about the shows they're played, there's too much filler. "They played on "Show A" and "Show C"." That's all you need.
It also wouldn't hurt to include a website for the event.
Good work overall, the issues I'm noticing are becoming smaller with each article.
