·     My Facebook, shared by an acquaintance. He shared from one of his friends, Kaden Ray Franks, who shared it from the Business Insider website page.

·     The shared post was captioned “LETS GOOOO”

·     Picture of Trump

·     Joe Perticone from Business Insider 
·     Owned by Axel Springer 




4.    Trace the timeline, compiling links from the originating content to your eyeballs (and where you shared it, if applicable).

5.    Would you share this?  Why or why not?
·      I would not share this. The headline reads “ITS OFFICIAL”, but the article does not make it seem that way. The article is difficult to read and hard to tell what is actually going on.




6.    But you really, really want to share this post.  What can you do?

·     However, if I did want to share this post I would try to research similar articles so I can have a more clear understanding of what is going on. Then I could possibly explain that in my post.

5.    Would you share this?  Why or why not?
·      I would share it because it is an original post written by the campus 
·     It is credible and promotes a local news outlet

  1. While commonly done, capitalizing entire words to show emphasis is wrong. I understand why it's done, but it's still wrong. You also missed answering one question on your second example.

Who?  A potbellied pig named Charlotte/ owner Yvette Hoffman.  What?  A pig’s brief escape that was stopped with the Middletown Division Police Department and Oreos. Where?  Middletown Ohio             When?  Dispatchers received calls about the pig around 12:30 p.m., Friday. Why?  Hoffman says a passerby must have let Charlotte out of the yard.
