·     My Facebook, shared by an acquaintance. He shared from one of his friends, Kaden Ray Franks, who shared it from the Business Insider website page.



2.    Who (or what) brought it to your attention?

·     The shared post was captioned “LETS GOOOO”

·     Picture of Trump

·     Joe Perticone from Business Insider 
·     Owned by Axel Springer 




4.    Trace the timeline, compiling links from the originating content to your eyeballs (and where you shared it, if applicable).

5.    Would you share this?  Why or why not?
·      I would not share this. The headline reads “ITS OFFICIAL”, but the article does not make it seem that way. The article is difficult to read and hard to tell what is actually going on.




6.    But you really, really want to share this post.  What can you do?

·     However, if I did want to share this post I would try to research similar articles so I can have a more clear understanding of what is going on. Then I could possibly explain that in my post.

5.    Would you share this?  Why or why not?
·      I would share it because it is an original post written by the campus 
·     It is credible and promotes a local news outlet

  1. While commonly done, capitalizing entire words to show emphasis is wrong. I understand why it's done, but it's still wrong. You also missed answering one question on your second example.

Journal Week 12

People involved: 1 st Girl: Black hair light blue eyes Green NDSU scrubs  Big smile  2 nd Girl: Blonde hair  NDSU gold sweatshirt  Where: Starbucks 52 nd Ave.  Large tables in the middle of the room The story: Two girls were sitting at a table inside of Starbucks off of 52 nd Avenue. They were studying and seemed to be biology majors considering the majority of their textbooks were science based. I overheard their conversation about their Christianity. It seemed as though the girl in scrubs was preaching her advice from her own experiences to the girl in the NDSU sweatshirt. The girl in the scrubs was consoling the other girl for maybe drifting away from her Christianity. They talked about how it was okay she lost herself for a moment, but now she needs to put more of an effort into going to her bible study group. This then led to a different conversation consisting of the girl in scrubs showing concern and giving advice towards ...
